[SBB] Byxbee Park: Ross's Goose and Greater White-fronted Geese

Today Robbie Fischer and I visited Byxbee Park in Palo Alto in search of
the Snow Goose which had been seen there recently.

We met a couple of birders who said they had just seen the Snow Goose and
pointed us in the direction of where they had seen it. Perhaps we saw a
different bird, but the bird we saw, looked more like a ROSS'S GOOSE to us.
I suppose it might be a hybrid, but I don't think so.

The bird was along the southeast end of the Hilltop Trail before it drops
down to the Adobe Creek Trail at Mayfield Slough.

We were also surprised to see a flock of five GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE,
four adults and one immature. All showed characters of the expected race
A. a. frontalis.

They were near the northwest end of the park.
