Through my 10x binoculars, the length of the bill compared to the size of the head in the bird I saw, looked like the bill was longer than on the bird in this photo. Also, compared to the nearby birds, its size seemed more like a Snow goose rather than Ross's. It didn't seem small enough for a Ross's. However, I did not scope it, and based my decision of Snow Goose rather than Ross's on those two details. If this is the same bird (and it seems likely) then I stand corrected. Thank you, Joe.
