I also enjoyed birding at home, yesterday afternoon. Is it still called backyard birding if I stayed in my living room the whole time? Since I live in a high-density housing area, I don't usually see a lot of birds from my apartment, but there were five Dark-eyed Juncos wandering around on my balcony, so I got the camera out. Then, some bird that I'd never seen before anywhere showed up on a nearby tree. It was a Townsend's Warbler. Here's the photo:
