Howdy Tom and SBBers,
I read Tom's post with interested....I too have a bicolored gold-white
crown...what's up with this?
From the back you would swear it's a white crown, but the front is gold

Good birding...

I'm hobbling around after knee surgery and missing the beginning of spring migration, doggone it. So my recent pix are all from my back deck. Today's (first three in the gallery) include a common but transitory spring sight around here, the GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW in breeding plumage just before departure, with the bicolored gold-and-white crown. http://www.pbase.com/tgrey/latest Tom Grey _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
