Howdy all...
What a difference the sun makes! All Great Blue Herons nests had
herons on them. Also, Nest 2 and 10 have chicks. It's all so
exciting...some incubating, some just starting and others feeding
chicks....
Had three Cackling Geese today at Vasona as well as Black-crowned Night
Herons, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, a Canada Goose on a nest, Killdeer, a pair of
Red-shouldered Hawks, Nuttall's, Flicker and a single female Bullock's
Oriole.
Male Black-headed Grosbeak still at my feeder with Quail
underneath.....
