I went to see the Pygmy Nuthatches, Barn Owls and
White-tailed Kites yesterday evening and this morning
and took a few photographs which I have posted here:
http://www.pbase.com/robpavey/sbb_pygmy_nuthatch
Yesterday evening I joined John and Maria Meyer who
had the Pygmy Nuthatches in view. The Nuthatches
dissapeared into their nesthole as it started to get
dark and the young Barn Owls poked their heads up in
their hole. I left at about 8:30 and there was no sign
of the parent owls by then.
I went back this morning and met Tate Snyder by the
nuthatch tree the light was better for photography.
