Late morning today (Sunday) there was an American Dipper in Penitencia
Creek under the stone bridge at the end of the last parking lot in Alum
Rock Park. I walked up to the confluence with Arroyo Aguague, but didn't
find one anywhere else. (Note that foot traffic was fairly frequent this
morning.) In the places I checked in the Park (all along the creek), I
didn't have evidence for any recent arrivals apart from Orange-crowned
Warbler. (I didn't check the hillsides for hummingbirds.)
