I birded around Grant Park on Saturday morning. Because of the signs in
front of the fire station, I parked on the road past the bridge on a wide
shoulder area. While I was there, a large white SUV with POLICE on the
side drove by. The cop slowed, rolled down his window and said, "You're
parked illegally". I didn't have a chance to ask how I was parked
illegally. Is it illegal to park anywhere along the road there?
