On a midday visit to Sunnyvale Baylands Park, I missed the interesting
warbler(s) seen earlier. Just lots of Yellow-rumped and Yellow, and one
Common Yellowthroat. (An aggressive motorized lawn-mower didn't help at
all.) On my way back I viewed the Lockheed Ponds from the old landfill
hill (Sunnyvale), and saw the continuing two White-faced Ibis. (A scope
is needed for decent views from here.) On the hill itself I saw one or
two American Pipits.
What, by the way, is a WWTP?
Al Eisner
