A Blue-footed Booby has been spotted in the Alviso ponds. This was reported
to the Bird Observatory by Clyde Morris, south bay refuge manager, but I
don't know who actually found the bird.
I just got a cell call from some of our staff that they can see the bird
diving out on ponds 10 and 11. After parking at the county marina, head out
on the trail and turn left along the first pond, which is A12. It's quite a
ways to the next pond - you might want to take a bike!
