[SBB] Baird's at Alviso, pics

The two juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS were in the water west of the entrance
road to the EEC early this morning. I dipped on the Stilt Sandpiper
yesterday, and didn't do the healing of my knee cartilage any good with the
hike out and back, so I decided to stick to bird photography from the car.
Very nice light and smooth water early, and Bob Lewis and Eleanor Barchetti
were there from the East Bay also taking advantage of it. Both phalarope
species were offering good views, and I even got a Wilson's with a Lesser
Yellowlegs in one picture.

OT: Continuing the photo-from-car theme, I headed up to Radio Road where I
saw Dave Weber, and a got a photo of a BLACK SKIMMER (one of four there)
rubbing its feathers in the dust, following which it got up and preened.
(Dave neither dusted nor preened.)
