[SBB] more YHBLs in Alviso

All,

This evening 5/18/07 at about 7pm, Alma and I spent about a half hour watching the blackbird flock across from the entrance to the Jubilee Christian Center in Alviso. The flock was a bit flighty as the birds foraged in the tall grasses and would largely disappear after landing, making accurate counting difficult. But occasionally the birds would land atop the fenceline and on such occasions I managed to get a good repeatable count of 14 YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS (3 immature males and 11 females). One CATTLE EGRET was in the Arzino pasture, along with 5 BURROWING OWLS, 1 LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE, and a several RING-NECKED PHEASANTS.
