[SBB] Brant in Adobe Creek at Charleston Slough, 5/6/07

At 12:15 today a BRANT was seen and photographed in Adobe Creek where
the line of posts extends toward Palo Alto Baylands just beyond the
"Diversity" informational placard on the path. (0.25 miles from the
Cliff Swallow Nests) It was "black bellied." The water level in the
creek was as low as I've seen it, with very few ducks. The slough
was a mud flat with almost no birds except on the island where the
Terns are nesting next to the Avocets. A very un-birdy day.
