Hi Birders-
Was at Ed Levin Park very early this morning to beat the rain. This visit was dedicated to finding a Rufous Hummingbird. It took an hour but one finally sat still long enough. Did not see any kingbirds. I then headed across the valley to Stevens Canyon Rd where I found two Amercian Dippers on the downstream side of the third bridge from the intersection. They flew upstream and stayed within 100 yards of the bridge. A quick walk down the old road inside Stevens Creek CP yielded my first Orange-crowned Warbler of the year.
