On Friday, March 16, at 6:30pm the Wood Duck was at the Palo Alto Duck Pond, but the Cattle Egret was not. On Sunday, March 18, at 6:30pm, the Cattle Egret was at the duck pond, but the Wood Duck was not. There were many Snowy Egrets and Black-crowned Night Herons in the palm trees on both days.
Before going to the duck pond on Sunday, I stopped at Shorebird Way to check on the Great Egrets. There were 25. Branches around the nests made photography difficult, but I still took a lot of pictures. However, I'm way behind on sorting and processing my photos. I'm partway through my photos from Friday.
