Today, 26 Jun 07, as I was driving down to the Coyote
Creek Golf Course, I had an adult SWAINSON'S HAWK
circling over the fields in Coyote Valley, along Santa
Teresa Rd between Bailey and Richmond. It moved off
towards the north and, by the time I got my car turned
around, was over Bailey by the IBM complex. By the
time I got to Bailey, it was nowhere to be found.
At the golf course I had a family group of
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES that included a male, a female,
and a newly fledged young. They were mostly working
the area around the garbage dumpsters.
