I have been asked to find a California thrasher for a visiting birder on Saturday. Normally I would hike up the Coyote Ridge Trail in Stevens Creek Park, and I still may, but I recall people reporting thrashers in residential neighborhoods. I'm wondering if that information is still current, or if there is any other spot which is reliable (other than Rancho San Antonio and Alum Rock Park). Please respond off the list, and thanks!
