The NGS topo map suggests that at least the trees are in Santa Clara,
and Bill Bousman said his information showed the county line being at
the "treeline". (I was interested, because a week earlier I heard the
bird from well into those trees.) There's also a GPS measurement by,
I think, Roland, which Bill has commented on -- but I don't know what
exact location this measurement is from. Finally, Frank Vanslager has
said he had the bird along the road in a location which is apparently
more definitively in Santa Clara.
