Today (Sat, Jan 13) I saw the immature GLAUCOUS GULL on the second
island on Pond A16 at the Alviso EEC. Also out by the third island I
saw a male EURASIAN WIGEON and a minima-type CACKLING GOOSE.
After leaving Alviso I went out to Ed Levin CP and saw the continuing
YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER which flew out from the tamarisk trees to a nearby
eucalyptus.
And a late report - on Friday, Jan 12, I saw the BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER
foraging in the sycamores at Upper Penitencia Creek Park near the "Rainbows End"
building just east of the wooden bridge.
