[SBB] Calero-Morgan Hill CBC Cackling Geese pics

Title: Calero-Morgan Hill CBC Cackling Geese pics

On Dec 30th CBC, Howard Higley and I had 11 CACKLING GEESE swimming among CANADA GEESE on Cottonwood Lk in Hellyer Park.

The close-ups show variation in the white neck ring. Of the 11, I would say upto 4 clearly showed a ring.

All of them were roughly the same size, with their posture making a difference in the apparent size.

Other pictures I have show birds with and without the ring next to each other with little difference in shape/structure.

My suspicion is all are Aleutian but would be good to know if otherwise.

I have also uploaded a picture of an OSPREY flying with a large fish from the same day.
