Hi all,
yesterday afternoon a flock of about 50 Cedar Waxwings descended upon my back yard. I have a small Pyracantha bush, but it has a ton of ripe berries. the birds landed on the trees around the bush and took turns, 15 or so at a time, dive bombing on the berries. they would land, gorge on 5-8 berries really fast, and fly away. then another wave would come in and do the same.
I was able to get some good closeups of the birds. the video is here:
