[SBB] Charleston Marsh: no Northern Waterthrush but still nice

Hi,

I conducted a circumperambulation around Charleston Marsh today
starting around 2 PM. I was hoping to find the oft-reported Northern
Watherthrush, but no luck. However, I still had an enjoyable walk.

While nothing too unusual, I was delighted to see the GREEN HERON I
often find there as well a one male and four female HOODED
MERGANSERS. Both were near the Shoreline Road end of the marsh.

The AMERICAN GOLDFINCHES looked rather splotchy as they were caught
in the middle of changing their drab winter coats for the bright
yellow ones.

Three AMERICAN ROBINS got embroiled in some kind of fight as best I
could tell with much extremely loud exclamation which seemingly drew
every robin from the surrounding area for a ring-side seat. I hadn't
seen anything quite like that before.

Good birding, Eric
