Yesterday in addition to the snow geese in the air and on the
ground,I was lucky enough to come across hundreds of Sandhill Cranes
close in good light on the Merced auto loop so I took picture as long
at they were with in good range from my car. Some were posing

Others were dancing

In addition I came across White-faced Ibises in groups on the San
Luis Loop some of whom were in there remarkably beautifully non
breeding plumage in the light that I photographed them in.

Since some of you may want to get down there to see them I did think
this was too much off the subject.
