   Today
  i went to sawyer creek trail in Crystal springs
 I saw  4  Varied  Thrushes  along the trail
I started  at the san mateo entrance and saw the birds about a mile to 11/2 miles in

new/different areas this year. We had a female Varied Thrush in Pacifica
for two or three days. It sheltered from the rain under bushes and trees,
and foraged for insects. This is a new bird for this yard.
