All,
This morning Frank Vanslager and I had a GREAT-HORNED OWL in a Eucalyptus
tree on the along the boundary between Spring Valley Golf Course with Ed Levin
Co Park. A WILD TURKEY in the southern portion of Ed Levin was a
county year bird for both of us, seems hard to believe. Just in
case Dave Weber hasn't had a chance to check lately the male YELLOW-BELLIED
SAPSUCKER was in the Tamarisks along Calaveras Rd and the southern portion
of Ed Levin Co Park. When last seen it flew across Calaveras Rd to a large
Oak on the north side of the road east of the school. Our last bird
of note was a GLAUCOUS GULL on the third island in Salt Pond A16.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
