[SBB] Santa Clara Valley Water District

I returned to the water district this morning 2-8-07 at 9 am and saw 
some new arrivals. Four more Cinnamon Teals, and a male and 4 f. Hooded 
Mergansers were in the river channel. The wooded dam was completely gone 
and it was quiet for a change. Four Fox Sparrows were seen on the north 
side of the property. The Osprey was eating a fish in a large tree on 
Almaden Ex. and a Peregrine Falcon perched briefly in the same area but 
flew off. A Marsh Wren came out of the cattails for a nice close look. 
Two swallows flew high over the pond before I left at 10:30 which were 
either Tree or Violet Green.
