[SBB] Charleston slough shorebirds.




Taking a look at photos from this evening's jaunt, a good number of the birds I saw weren't killdeer, but seem to be semipalmated plovers -- dark cheeks, a single dark collar, and the bi-color beak of the adult non-breeding plumage. I figured I might find some plovers in there, but it looks like there's a good number of them in there -- counted 20+ so far..
