[SBB] Cattle Egret (Palo Alto Baylands)

Folks:

This morning, 4/4/07, I stopped by the Palo Alto Baylands.  As I was 
getting out of the car at 7:30 am, a CATTLE EGRET flew out of the 
palms at the Duck Pond.  I saw one GREAT EGRET apparently on a nest 
and another nest-building.  A few SNOWY EGRETS are apparently 
incubating.  I found an apparent BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON shell on 
the ground below the myoporum and other trees around the rangers 
station, so I assume at least one nestling has hatched.
