Hi Birders-
Went to the hang glider parking area to see if the Lawrence's Goldfinches found by Donna Heim might be around. Nope. So I went over to the Spring Valley area where the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker continues to not be, for me at least. While staring into the tamarisks I thought it would be nice if a Lawrence's Goldfinch would show up and save me some time. Right then the singing starts and there's a male Lawrence's Goldfinch at the top of the tallest tamarisk! I though of some other good species that would be nice to see, but they didn't show up. There seemed to be another LAGO singing somewhere in the area. A House Wren was at the free parking lot near the gate.
