After Dave Quady pointed us to the last seen location of the bird, after some searching at ~7:15AM the NORTHERN PARULA was spotted by Karen DeMello in the bushes south of the row of decidous trees, between the dirt path and the dike. This was just before the path goes back up to meet the dike. Got brief but great, close looks, much better than the canopy views I was used to on the East Coast.
A WILSON’s WARBLER was busy foraging along the path for all of the 1.5hrs I was there. Also seen a SWAINSON’s THRUSH.
