Thanks for the timely posting. I went to the SCVWD pond this afternoon to photograph the Ring-necked Ducks. Here's the picture:
I found most of the birds that you reported, plus 2 Nutmeg Mannikins, 8 Yellow-rumped Warblers, and several Anna's Hummingbirds and Bushtits.

fall today at the SCVWD Alamitos Recharge ponds. Actually, both were
in the creek/river behinds the ponds. From the light rail side we
