[SBB] California Thrasher at Rancho San Antonio

This afternoon, 10/15, there were two California Thrashers at the bottom of the Mora Trail at Rancho San Antonio. They were both interested in an acorn on the trail, but they never got it because a jogger scared them away. Here's a picture.

The Western Screech-Owls were not there.

I probably shouldn't be the one reporting this, but this morning, around 11:45am, a group of birders saw a Sora in Adobe Creek by the small observation deck. I got there after it left, but Linda Barrett showed me the picture in her camera. Two Common Moorhens, one juvenile and one adult, were there, but they were too far to photograph. The only interesting photo I got there was of a Pied-billed Grebe in juvenal plumage.
