On 27 Nov 06 I stopped by Shoreline Lake, where I was able to see a female BARROW'S GOLDENEYE. There was also an adult male goldeneye that looked like a BARROW'S x COMMON hybrid. A HORNED GREBE was present, as was the injured male GREATER SCAUP.
On 28 Nov 06 an OSPREY was over Ogier Ponds.
On 29 Nov 06 I found 2 YELLOW WARBLERS in the butterfly garden at the EEC in Alviso. I would think that these are wintering birds at this point. The gulls gathered on the island in front of the EEC included WESTERN, GLAUCOUS-WINGED, HERRING, THAYER'S, CALIFORNIA, RING-BILLED, MEW, and BONAPARTE'S.
