This morning (11 Nov), I had a Swamp Sparrow with a very large flock of
sparrows on the east side of Turlock Avenue, southwest of San Martin. The
bird was along the edge of a "field" of ornamental willows across the road
from the Bright Ranch Horsemanship Academy at 11695 Turlock. This is just
west of Santa Teresa Boulevard and south of Highland Avenue.
Farther south, 3 Cackling Geese were with 80 Canadas in a field between
Frazer Lake Road and Llagas Creek, north of Bloomfield Road.
In the San Martin area, 15 Eurasian Collared-Doves were along Santa Teresa
Boulevard near San Martin Ave., 7 were in "downtown" San Martin, and about
40 were in the vicinity of Middle Avenue just east of 101.
