Yesterday (May 1) I spent some time in the morning at Calero Reservoir and
the levee trail leading to the upper end of the reservoir. Here are a few
birds of interest: one CLARK'S GREBE on the reservoir - the BARN OWL
continued to be seen under the eaves of the farmhouse at the horse corral - and
some spring migrants along the walk to the levee included ASH-THROATED
FLYCATCHER, WESTERN TANAGER, BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK, and BULLOCK'S ORIOLE.
