This morning I met a birder at PA Baylands and Jack and I spent most of the remaing day poking around the area. While at Shoreline one of the emplyees drove up and told us that a GOLDEN EAGLE was seen hunting north of the dog park. Sure enough there was the eagle perched on top of light pole in the field north of the dog park. Jack took a number of pictures as we ventured closer to the pole. A red shouldered hawk made several close passes at the eagle with no noticeable results. Finally the eagle flew to the north.
