Folks:
Yesteday morning, 4/10/06, I stopped by Shoreline Lake. Two adult Canada
Geese with 7 downy goslings were the first hatch I've seen this year. Also
new for the season was a Brown-headed Cowbird that came by giving its
flight whistle. Protect your nests, ladies and gents! Ten Common
Goldeneyes and 27 Surf Scoters still remain on the lake.
