All: I stopped and viewed the Snow Goose on Thursday the 23rd and again on Saturday the 25th, as I rode the Steven’s Creek bike path. This was where the bike path approaches the southeast end of A2W from the south. It was, as usual, feeding with a large flock of Canada Geese on the hillsides above the path. This would place it over the hill to the east of the entrance road, a few hundred yards east of where it had been. It might best be approached from Crittenden Lane. On Saturday I also noticed that someone had lightly mowed the overgrown grass at the Burrowing Owl site across from the entrance to the Shoreline Golf Course. Frank Vanslager |
