[SBB] Yellow-bellied Sapsucker

I arrive at Ed Levin Pk. a few minutes after 8 AM.
There was no wind. I walked the Tamarisk tree line back and forth a few times.
Nothing. This is my fourth trip to find the YBSS.
I decided to walk the tree line from the road side, looking into the sun.
I found the YBSS on the road side of the Tamarisk trees.
At the 25 MPH sign is a small Black Walnut tree the bird was in this tree about 6 ft. off the ground. I was able to view the bird for sometime there.
The it then flew into the Tamarisk trees very high up and move around frequently.
Then it came back into the Walnut tree briefly.
Then it flew into a Live Oak directly behind the fence line where the 25 mph sign is.
This is public school property so I follow the bird into the Oak.
It was on a large limb inside the tree near the crown drilling holes,
A van with three birders arrived as I was leaving. I directed them to the general area of the YBSS.
As reported earlier this week, there are several Red-breasted Sapsuckers, Ruby Crown Kinglets and Yellow Rumps in the area too.
Happy New Years.
