I checked on the Burrowing Owls at Shoreline yesterday, August 31. I saw 5 (and a cyclist who stopped said he saw 6) on the mound on the bay side of the trail, and one on the street side. The owl on the street side was partially hidden, probably because someone was mowing the grass 20 yards away. The others were standing in the open. This morning, I saw 4 on the bay side and one on the street side. My photos from yesterday are at--Garrett
