[SBB] Hooded Orioles

The second family of our regular Hooded Oriole has
fledged. Three youngsters, two female and one male
are draining our hummer feeder and bathing. The male
(suspect) is a slightly darker shade of yellow than
the other two pale birds, and there is just a hint of
some dark feathers on the head.

I'm preparing a new quart of syrup to replenish the
feeder as soon as the congregation of quail absent
themselves from the patio! So many quail this year,
and yes, there have been lots of Chickadees. Any
chance they may have a third nesting period???

Five young Scrub Jays were flying hither and thither
seemingly just for the fun a frightening everyone,
including themselves!
