Anyone who lives in territory where Mockingbirds nest sympathizes.  
Trust me. I've talked in the past that my neighborhood was having a  
gang war between the mockingbirds (who owned the area) and the scrub  
jays (who wanted to move in), well, the mockingbirds have won the  
past two battles, and are proud to let us know that at 3AM...
