Hi All,
A pair of Lawrence's Goldfinches made a stopover at
the little pond at Monte Bello's Gate 5 this morning 8/29/2006. When they
left they headed northwest. I lost sight of them a few yards short of the San
Mateo County line.
Two Chipping Sparrows were there this AM, and a
first-fall Yellow-rumped Warbler. There was also a pair of flyover Dendroica
warblers that I couldn't ID to species - probably Townsend's.
Both Soras were present. A Wilson's Snipe has
showed up as well.
