Hi Birders-
After spending the morning in San Mateo County, I checked on the two Eurasian Widgeons at Palo Alto Baylands. They were both sleeping on the muddy banks near the parking lot for the nature center. Later at Ed Levin Park on the trail above the sycamores there was one Rufous-crowned Sparrow. Down at the parking lot for the group picnic area at Spring Valley at least one male Rufous Hummingbird was present at the flowering eucalyptus. When I got back to the car at the dirt lot on Calaveras there were two adult wild pigs and seven piglets foraging in the lot.
