This afternoon (Sun 4/2) a silent male BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK was seen near the Mockingbird Hill entrance at New Almaden/Quicksilver CP. It was associating with a mixed flock of AMERICAN GOLDFINCH, PURPLE FINCH, and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS in the budding oaks.
