The Solitary Sandpiper was still present along the Guadalupe River
north of Coleman this afternoon, where it was observed from the east
bank between about 1:30 and 2:00. (Sorry, I didn't get the name of
the gentlemen who first located it.) Also present on this stretch
were a Green Heron, a Spotted Sandpiper and (seen by others, not by
me) a Sora staying in the open. I didn't explicitly do land-birding,
but Yellow Warblers were evident.
