Seabirders!
Monterey Seabirds has two trips scheduled this weekend. Saturday is an 8
hour Monterey Sea Canyon trip at $80 per person. Sunday is a 12 hour
offshore endeavor to the albacore grounds for murrelets, jaegers, skuas as
well as whales and dolphins at $120 per person.
With diesel over $3 a gallon these prices may never be this low again.
Don Roberson, Todd Easterla, Roger Wolfe and Richard Ternullo will be
spotting. This is the time of year with the greatest diversity with a
good chance for vagrant seabirds. If you haven't birded on the bay
recently now is the time to go!
