The BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was seen today at about 9:45 am, on the levee near the SW corner of A16 in Alviso. The bird was in view for about a minute, then flew down below the levee into A16, and we were unable to locate it over the next few minutes. I had to get on to work, but Frank and Bob stayed and may have found more and/or relocated the sandpiper. Beautiful bird!
