[SBB] Plumbeous Vireo still around at CCFS!

All,

Mike Mammoser and I joined Steve Rottenborn at CCFS, hoping to relocate the Chimney Swift or the Gray Catbird. There was a flock of 24+ WHITE-THROATED SWIFTS high over the Milpitas side of the creek, but no sign of the Chimney Swift. No sign of the catbird either, but while searching along the creek, we heard a singing "Solitary" Vireo and by tracking it down managed to confirm that it was a PLUMBEOUS VIREO, presumably the same one found by Scott Terrill back on 5 October 250 meters further north. Today the bird was singing from the cottonwood along the creek about 20 meters north of net 9655, in loose association with 4 TOWNSEND'S WARBLERS, BUSHTITS, and CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEES.

Also at CCFS today, were the continuing unbanded BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER by the trailer and 4 HOUSE WRENS. Earlier, Steve had seen a hatch-year female BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLER up by the former heronry across from the waterbird pond (likely the same bird continuing from 15 Oct); he also saw 3 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOWS heading north along the creek south of the trailer.
