[SBB] Lake Cunningham

The WILLIAMSON SAPSUCKER was in parking lot C this around 10:30 this a.m. In parking lot A I saw several RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, a HERMIT THRUSH, and a BLACK PHOEBE is building a nest on the back side of the restrooms.

I made a quick check on the largeest island where the BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERONS are nesting and I found a GREAT EGRET in the process of fixing up one of last years nesting sites. A GREEN HERON flew in as well. It walked into the brush so I will keep an eye on that spot to see if it is nesting there as well.

A quick check of the pines at parking lot C at Lake Cunningham also failed to turn up the Williamson's Sapsucker (not surprising given the number of people partying nearby), although at least 2 RED-BREASTED NUTHACTHES were still around.
